Med Move will open its doors from 29 September to 1 October 2023 for its first edition at SICILIAFIERA
Med Move, organized by Expò Mediterraneo, is a young exhibition event; it was born in Southern Italy, but it has the ambition to grow and expand involving the countries bordering the Mediterranean.
The Fair does not want to reproduce events already known, but intends to focus attention on a sector that will be strategic in the future development of emerging countries in North Africa and the Middle East.
But what does Med Move propose? The event is focused on the issues of sustainability, safety and intermodal transport, but there will be the usual training events and deepening with the road community. Med Move, in fact, will give space to the many souls of freight transport, with an important focus dedicated to road transport. You will see (and you can test on the road) the heavy and light vehicles of large manufacturers such as DAF, Ford Trucks, IVECO, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Scania, Volvo Trucks, Isuzu. There will be space for spare parts, aftermarket and trailed, but also to deal with the big issues of logistics.
The new fairgrounds of Catania, Siciliafiera will give new impetus to the event dedicated to transport and logistics that I have in mind for some time. It will allow new commercial opportunities, will bring back the focus of the transports on the Mediterranean with a look to the Africa North and the Middle East and I hope it can grow the Salon and to make it a fixed appointment in the agendas of all the operators of the field.
