Reduce, Control, Recycle: How We Use Water Resources in Our Company
Water is a limited and vital resource. In our plants, water is used with awareness and respect, conscious of its value for the environment and the community.
On the occasion of World Water Day, we want to share our constant commitment to the responsible management of this fundamental resource.

Reduction of Water Consumption:
Even though we do not carry out activities with high water consumption, we have adopted cutting-edge policies and technologies to minimize the environmental impact.
We are proud to announce that in 2024 we reduced water consumption by 40% compared to 2022, a tangible result of our commitment to sustainability.
Scrupulous and Periodic Checks of Aquifers:
In our plants, water comes from authorized wells and, in Treviso, also from the Limbraga river, used for fire-fighting purposes.
To ensure its quality and safety, we carry out periodic checks and monthly monitoring, verifying that consumption is in line with our expectations and that there are no leaks.
Sandblasting of Vehicles to Skip the Washing Phase:
At the Treviso plant, we have invested in an innovative sandblasting system, which allows us to avoid traditional vehicle washing, drastically reducing water consumption.
Water Purification for Continuous Reuse:
In the washing and hydraulic testing processes, we use closed-circuit systems and collection tanks, to minimize waste and reuse water as long as possible.
Wastewater is treated with efficient purification systems, which allow us to eliminate industrial discharges and recycle purified water. Rainwater is also monitored and carefully managed to prevent soil contamination.
Water protection is a shared responsibility. Therefore, we are committed to constantly improving our practices and raising awareness among our employees and the community in which we operate about the importance of proper and conscious use of water resources
