A concrete experience for younger students

We had the pleasure of welcoming to our company the students of Class 2E from the Lower Secondary School of Castiglion Fiorentino – I.C. “Città di Castiglion Fiorentino.”
A day designed to bring young people closer to the world of business and industry, offering them a first, direct insight into how products are made and what it means to work within a structured production environment.

From school to company: learning by observing

Accompanied by some of our employees, the students were able to visit the production areas and closely observe the different stages of the manufacturing process, gaining an understanding of how people, skills, and technology work together every day to turn a project into reality. This approach is part of the company’s broader commitment to fostering connections between schools and businesses, already developed through previous training initiatives involving students from the Giovanni da Castiglione Vocational Institute, with a specific focus on the operation of the painting robot.

Orientation and awareness: a first step toward the future

The visit was not only a moment of discovery, but also an opportunity for orientation. Entering a company, learning about roles and professions, and seeing technical skills applied in practice helps students develop greater awareness as they approach future educational choices. We believe that experiences like this can spark curiosity and interest, making paths that often seem distant or abstract at this age more tangible.

Building the future, together

The meeting with Class 2E is part of a long-standing initiative that Menci has been pursuing for years, based on collaborations with schools, institutions, and local organizations. A connection rooted in the territory and strengthened through orientation projects, company visits, and shared initiatives. Opening the doors of the company to younger generations means investing in the future of the community. It means creating dialogue, sharing values, and offering tools to help imagine tomorrow with greater awareness. We are proud to have once again welcomed the students of Castiglion Fiorentino, confirming our commitment to building concrete bridges between school, territory, and business.
